This study explores how kidney patients feel about their disease and their symptoms and how this is related to depression, physical activity habits and quality of life.
The study will recruit individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and investigate the relationship between:
- Illness representation
- Levels of physical activity and physical function
- Symptom perceptions
- Quality of life
Understanding how living with CKD affects the feelings, behaviour and lifestyle of the patients will help us to design and develop coping and management strategies to improve quality of life and outcome.
